We’ve been working with the fundraising team on social media collateral and their website for fundraising. Without additional help with funding, the playcenter faced closure which would be a sad outcome after being a thriving hub for families in the community since 1974. Despite financial support from Playcentre Aotearoa, the Ministry of Education and the Tauranga City Council, the Playcentre still needed to cover the cost of the new building. The Playcentre is currently raising funds for a new centre. One of our recent community projects was for the Mount Maunganui Playcentre Relocation Project. That’s why community investment is our driving ‘why’. There is no richer experience than using your own skill and ability to help someone else make a positive impact.
